ECZ-ID Intent Control

Evaluate a proposed action against authority, the Intent, policy and optional counterparty context.

ECZ-ID Intent Control evaluates a proposed action by an ECZ-ID entity against its authority, its authorised Intent, your policy and, where you supply it, counterparty context. Decisions are EVALUATED, never ENFORCED by ECZ-ID: an enforcement point you run decides whether the action goes ahead.

The problem

Why it matters.

Knowing who your service or workload is does not tell you whether a particular action is within what it was authorised to do. Without a consistent evaluation, each system answers that question its own way, or not at all.

Built for

  • Teams that want a proposed action checked against authority, the Intent and policy before their own systems act.
  • Operators of services and workloads whose actions involve counterparties.
  • Organisations that want the Intent and its runtime control in one plan.

What changes

  • One evaluation of a proposed action against authority, the Intent and policy.
  • Decisions recorded as EVALUATED, with their basis.
  • Your own enforcement points left in charge of what happens next.

What you receive

Concrete deliverables, not a vague trust score.

  • Protected entities, hosted decisions and policy syncs, set by the plan.
  • Evaluation against authority, the authorised Intent, your policy and optional counterparty context.
  • The Intent + Intent Control plans, which carry both services in one plan: the authorised boundary and its runtime control.

How it works

A short path from need to something usable.

  1. Authorise an Intent for the Passport with ECZ-ID Intent.

  2. Keep your policy in step through policy syncs.

  3. A proposed action is evaluated against authority, the Intent, policy and any counterparty context you supply.

  4. Your own enforcement point decides whether the action goes ahead.

How it relates to your Passport

Intent Control reads the Passport and its authorised Intent and never changes either: the ECZ-ID, its Resolver record and your Parent tier stay as they are. It evaluates; enforcement belongs to the systems you run.

Use cases

  • Checking a proposed action by one of your services and workloads against its authorised Intent before your system acts.
  • Applying the same policy to every evaluation through policy syncs.
  • Adding counterparty context to an evaluation where you have it.

Privacy, security and evidence

What is collected, published and kept.

  • Every decision is EVALUATED, never ENFORCED by ECZ-ID.
  • Payment authorises nothing.
  • Counterparty context is used only where you supply it.

Boundaries

The claims stop here.

  • Decisions are EVALUATED, never ENFORCED by ECZ-ID; an action is stopped only by an enforcement point you run.
  • Payment authorises nothing, and a Passport is not an Intent authorisation.
  • Protected-entity coverage is not AEC capacity.

Integrations and questions

Works with what you already run.

  • ECZ-ID Intent, for the authorised boundary decisions are evaluated against.
  • The enforcement points and policy engines you already run.
  • Dashboard: plans, protected entities and decisions.

Does Intent Control block actions?
No. Decisions are EVALUATED, never ENFORCED by ECZ-ID. An action is stopped only by an enforcement point you run.
Do I need ECZ-ID Intent as well?
Intent Control evaluates against an authorised Intent. The Intent + Intent Control plans carry both services in one plan.
Does a decision change my Passport?
No. The ECZ-ID, its Resolver record and your Parent tier never change because of an evaluation or a plan.
